A 30 mL (1.01 fl.oz.) brightening serum for skin with surface and deep pigmentation, blemishes and a dull, uneven tone. It combines a 72% sea buckthorn water base with 30,000 ppm tranexamic acid and 65,100 ppm of listed dark spot actives.

Sea buckthorn water 720,000 ppm (72%), tranexamic acid 30,000 ppm, MELAWAY 10,000 ppm (patented compound), niacinamide 20,000 ppm (2%), (-)-alpha-bisabolol 5,000 ppm (0.5%), adenosine 400 ppm and 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid 100 ppm, plus glutathione and hippophae rhamnoides fruit extract.

Its main brightening ingredient is tranexamic acid, an alternative to pure vitamin C that stays stable for up to 12 months after opening. It also contains a vitamin C derivative, 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid.

You can layer it with other VVBETTER serums. We do not recommend combining it with skincare products that contain strong acids such as AHA or BHA, as this may cause irritation.

Yes. Tranexamic acid is in here at 3%, and when it meets air a little can crystallise around the neck. It's harmless — wipe it and keep using.

Yes. Succinic first, then Vita C TRX, then Bakuchiol PDRN — 2–3 drops of each — and sunscreen when you head out. If your skin is very sensitive or thin, use one serum per routine instead: for example Succinic in the morning and Vita C TRX at night.

A patented complex from our ingredient supplier (Korean patent No. 10-2539209) made from white water lily flower, lemon myrtle leaf and apple extracts — a source of vitamins B and C. It's in the formula at 1% (10,000 ppm) of the complex raw material.

Yes. It's registered with the Korean MFDS as a functional cosmetic for brightening and anti-wrinkle (notified July 2025). Niacinamide and alpha-bisabolol are the MFDS-listed brightening ingredients; adenosine is the MFDS-listed anti-wrinkle ingredient.
