Why this pair

A suggested pairing, not a set. The Blue Line is the base of the VVBETTER range: concentrated moisture, soothing and skin barrier care, with hyaluronic acid and peptides for hydration and niacinamide and centella for the barrier. Each product is sold separately at its own price, with no bundle discount, and either one works alone. They belong together because they are built for the same job: the serum brings light, water-based moisture and the peptides, and the cream gives that moisture a cushioned finish. Both carry niacinamide at 2%, so you are not layering two different strengths.

AM

Serum, cream, sunscreen

After cleansing and toner: serum, then cream, then a sunscreen you like.

PM

Serum, then cream

After cleansing and toner: the same two steps, without sunscreen.

A PAD TIP

Serum on a pad

Put 1–2 drops of serum on a Jeju Yuja Balancing Pad, lay it on for 3–5 minutes, then follow with the cream.

HOW MUCH, AND HOW LONG

A pea-sized scoop, and a little more where it feels dry.

Close the jar after use and keep the spatula clean. With daily use, the 30 ml serum lasts about a month to six weeks and the 50 ml jar about a month. Use both within 12 months of opening, and keep them in a cool place away from direct sunlight.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

Before you start

01

Sunscreen in the morning

Finish the morning with sunscreen; the serum's directions recommend it.

02

Sensitive? Go thin

Begin with fewer drops and a thin layer of cream, and add more as your skin feels comfortable.

03

Read the list

Both contain peptides, vitamin C forms and plant extracts. If you have allergies, check the full ingredient list on each page.

IN THE HAND

The serum and the cream, on the shelf and on the skin

Comfort first, and the patch test

Moisturizing products work at the surface. Skin may feel softer and more comfortable soon after use, while changes in firmness or glow, if you notice any, come slowly and differ from person to person. We do not promise a timeline. Mindful skincare, to us, is a balanced blend of ingredients that stays gentle even on sensitive skin.

Patch test. Before the first use, dab a small amount of each product on the inside of your wrist or behind the ear, wait 24 hours, and stop if you notice redness, itching or swelling. Add the second product a day or two after the first.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions about the pair

Browse all FAQs ↗
Which goes first, the serum or the cream?+

Serum first, then cream. Lighter, water-based products go on before richer ones.

How many drops of serum?+

2–3 drops: one on the forehead and one on each cheek, then press gently over the whole face until absorbed.

Can I use the serum without the cream?+

Yes. If your skin feels dry afterwards, the cream is the natural next step.

Do these products contain exfoliating acids?+

Neither is an exfoliating-acid product. For the toner step, our product team pairs both with the AHA Boosting Toner, used on a cotton pad and swept over face and neck, avoiding the eyes. It contains AHA, so introduce one product at a time, start every other day if acids are new to you, and wear sunscreen in the morning.

Why does the page say "suggested pairing"?+

Because the two are sold separately at their own prices. We suggest an order; you choose what to buy.
