The short answer
Teca Lifting Moisture Cream is the Blue Line cream, a 50 ml jar for all skin types. Its base is 53% Centella asiatica extract from Madagascar, listed first on the label where most creams list water, and its key points are 9 types of peptides, hyaluronic acid and collagen, with adenosine, niacinamide 2% (20,000 ppm) and ceramide NP. Hydration, elasticity, lifting and regeneration are its themes. Use a pea-sized scoop as the last step after serum, morning and evening, and put sunscreen on top in the morning.
Who it suits
This is the cream of the Blue Line, our base skincare line for intense hydration, soothing and skin barrier care, designed as the basic routine for dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin. The cream is for all skin types, and it is made for:
- skin that looks less firm or a little slack, with fine lines, and wants a firmer, lifted look;
- dry, rough or sensitive-feeling skin that wants a soothing daily cream and support for its skin barrier;
- a dull, uneven-looking tone that would like a soft glow.
Used every day, it suits all skin types. We suggest it from your late 20s, when you want hydration, a firmer look and tone support in one jar. The centella base is there to soothe, but if your skin is sensitive, patch-test first.

Why the first ingredient matters
The base is the largest single component of any cream, and in most creams that component is purified water. Here it is Centella asiatica extract at 53% (530,000 ppm), from Madagascar. Water is still on the ingredient list, so this is a base choice, not a water-free formula, but the ingredient the line is named for is the first one you read. For more on this idea, see what a botanical-water base tells you.
| Ingredient | Amount | What it is | Why it is in the formula |
|---|---|---|---|
| Centella asiatica extract (Madagascar) | 53% (530,000 ppm) | An extract of the centella plant | The base, in place of purified water. |
| 9 peptides: nonapeptide-1, acetyl hexapeptide-8, copper tripeptide-1, tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, hexapeptide-9, sh-oligopeptide-1 | 9 types, amounts not disclosed | Short chains of amino acids. One more type than the serum. | For skin that looks less firm. |
| Niacinamide | 2% (20,000 ppm) | A form of vitamin B3 | For dull, uneven-looking tone. |
| Adenosine | Listed, amount not disclosed | A compound found naturally in the body | For skin that looks firmer. |
| 3-O-Ethyl ascorbic acid | Listed, amount not disclosed | Vitamin C with an ethyl group attached | A vitamin C derivative for tone. There is no pure vitamin C in the cream. |
| Beta-glucan, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, glycerin | Listed, amounts not disclosed | Water-binding ingredients | To fill skin with moisture. |
| Ceramide NP, hydrolyzed collagen | Listed, amounts not disclosed | A skin-identical lipid, and a protein-based moisturizer | To help hold that moisture in and keep the feel of a comfortable barrier. |
| Kelp, eclipta and fig extracts | Listed, amounts not disclosed | Plant extracts | Sit alongside the centella base. |
The texture is bouncy and moist rather than oily, and it absorbs quickly with a soft inner glow rather than shine. Two things worth knowing if you read labels: fragrance is on the ingredient list, and so are silicones (phenyl trimethicone and cyclohexasiloxane). There is no retinol and no mineral oil. The cream is not registered as a functional cosmetic, so we describe how skin looks and feels rather than make functional brightening or wrinkle claims.
In the cream's own keywords: hydration comes from beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid and glycerin; elasticity and lifting from the 9 peptides and adenosine; and regeneration, in the sense of care for skin that feels worn by dryness, from the centella base, ceramide NP and niacinamide supporting the skin barrier.
How much to use
- Normal or dry skin: one pea-sized scoop for face and neck, a little more where skin feels dry.
- Combination skin: a pea-sized amount at night is often enough.
- Very oily skin: you may prefer the serum alone in the morning and the cream at night.
It absorbs quickly, so you can apply sunscreen or makeup straight after.
How to use it, step by step
- Finish your serum first. The cream is the last step before sunscreen.
- Scoop with the spatula. Take a pea-sized amount with the spatula supplied rather than your fingers.
- Smooth it over face and neck and massage gently in circles until absorbed.
- Close the lid and keep the spatula clean.

Use it daily, morning and evening. A 50 ml jar lasts about a month with daily use, and the cream should be used within 12 months of opening.
Patch test and cautions
If your skin is sensitive, or peptides and niacinamide are new to you, patch-test on the jawline for two nights before full-face use. Stop using the cream and consult a specialist if redness, swelling or itching occurs, including after sun exposure. Do not apply it to broken skin. Keep it out of reach of children, and store it away from direct sunlight.
What comes before and after it
The order is cleanser, toner, serum, cream, sunscreen. Before it, the Blue Line steps are 5.5 Soothing Cleansing Foam, AHA Boosting Toner and the Teca serum. You use it morning and evening, and in the morning sunscreen goes on after it.

Cream or serum: how they differ inside the Blue Line
| Teca Lifting Moisture Cream | Teca Lifting Moisture Serum | |
|---|---|---|
| Format | 50 ml jar with spatula | 30 ml dropper bottle |
| Base | 53% centella extract | Purified water |
| Peptides | 9 | 8 |
| Texture | Richer, cream | Lighter |
| Vitamin C | Derivative only | Pure vitamin C and a derivative |
| Amount per use | Pea-sized scoop | 2–3 drops |
Both carry centella, adenosine and 2% niacinamide, and they are meant to be used together: serum first, then cream. The Travel Kit Blue tube is a different formula, as the Blue Kit is small, but not identical explains. On the Green Line there is a cream of its own, Jeju Yuja Cera Balancing Cream, built for balance.
Made in Korea since 2021, the cream follows the brand's mindful approach to skincare: a clean and thoughtful formulation and at least six months of development before launch.
Quick answers
Why centella extract instead of water?
The base is the largest part of a cream. Making it centella extract, rather than purified water, puts the ingredient the line is named for at the centre.
Will it look greasy?
No. The cream is not oily. It leaves a soft glow rather than shine, so makeup goes on smoothly afterwards.
Is it too rich for oily or combination skin?
It is a cream, not a gel, but it absorbs quickly and does not leave a film. Combination skin often does well with a pea-sized amount at night.
How long does a jar last?
About a month with daily use. Use within 12 months of opening.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It is for all skin types, and centella is the base, there to soothe. The Blue Line is designed for dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin. The cream does contain fragrance and several active ingredients, so patch-test on the jawline for two nights if your skin is reactive.
