The short answer

Travel Kit Blue holds the four Blue Line steps in small sizes: foam, toner, serum and cream, 70 ml in all. Use them in that order, morning and evening, with sunscreen last in the morning. The minis are made to their own formulas, so they are not identical to the full sizes, and the ingredient list on each page is the place to compare. The Blue Line is VVBETTER's base skincare, and the kit is a compact, convenient way to try the whole base routine.

What is in the box and how each one is used

Each item has its own container and its own directions, so it helps to know what you are holding before you pack it. The Blue Line is base skincare for dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin, with HYDRATION, soothing and the skin barrier at its centre. That is why the kit holds a cleanser, a toner, a serum and a cream and nothing else: they are the steps you repeat every day.

Step Mini Container What it is for How to use it
1. Cleanse 5.5 Soothing Cleansing Foam, 20 ml Tube A low-pH (5.5) soothing cleanse with centella About 1–2 cm into wet palms, foam up, massage 1–2 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water
2. Tone AHA Boosting Toner, 30 ml Screw-cap bottle Mild AHA & BHA at neutral pH 5.5 for gentle everyday exfoliation Soak a cotton pad, sweep over a dry face and neck, avoid the eyes
3. Serum Teca Lifting Moisture Serum, 10 ml Dropper bottle 8 types of peptides with centella asiatica (TECA), for hydration and elasticity 2–3 drops: forehead and both cheeks, then press gently over the face

The order in the box is the order of use. Morning and evening, work through the four steps; in the morning, finish with a sunscreen of your choice. The kit contains none.

What is different from the full sizes

The Blue Kit minis are not simply smaller bottles of the full-size products. The kit page says each item is made to its own formula, and the ingredient lists show where they differ. These are the differences we can state:

  • Toner. The kit toner lists apple extract and the 200 ml bottle does not. Both are built around AHA and BHA for a combined 0.62% at pH 5.5, and both are used on a cotton pad as a wipe-off toner.
  • Serum and cream. The kit serum and cream list the TECA complex (asiatic acid, asiaticoside and madecassic acid from centella), with 8 and 9 peptides respectively. The full-size products list centella asiatica extract, and the full-size cream is built on a 53% centella extract base.
  • Cream base. The kit cream lists purified water first, not a 53% centella base. It also comes in a 10 ml tube instead of a jar with a spatula, so there is no spatula to carry.
  • Foam. The kit foam lists a few additional ingredients (glycol stearate and ethylhexanediol).

So do not assume a mini behaves like the full size. If you use the kit to decide which full-size step to buy, think of it as a trial of the routine and read the ingredient list on the full-size page before you switch. The product guides for the kit, toner, serum and cream list each one.

Using the kit step by step

  1. Patch-test the toner. The toner contains AHA and BHA, and the foam contains a little citric acid. If acids are new to you, put a little toner on the jawline for two nights first.
  2. Start the toner every other day if you are new to acids, or use retinoids or other acids. In the morning, follow with sunscreen.
  3. Foam, then toner. Rinse the foam well, pat dry, then sweep the toner over your face and neck on a cotton pad and let it absorb.
  4. Draw up the serum. Squeeze the dropper bulb and place 2–3 drops on forehead and cheeks, then press in.
  5. Finish with cream. Squeeze a pea-sized amount from the tube.
  6. If your skin feels tight or hot, skip the toner for a few days, keep the foam, serum and cream, and stop everything if redness, swelling or itching appears. Do not use on broken or irritated skin, and talk to a clinician or skin specialist if it does not settle.

Packing it for a trip

Each container holds 30 ml or less, and the four add up to 70 ml. Carry-on liquid rules vary by airport and airline, so check the rules for your route before you fly. A few habits make travel easier:

  • Keep the toner upright in a sealed bag, because it has a screw cap and is poured onto a cotton pad.
  • Pack cotton pads in a dry pouch.
  • Keep the serum bottle upright, and store everything away from direct sunlight.
  • Lay the four out in order each evening, so the routine is the same as at home. Keeping a small, steady routine on the road is mindful skincare, and the idea behind “every day, very very better”.

Moving up to full size

When one of the minis is nearly empty, that is usually the step to replace with a full size first. Replace one step at a time rather than all four, so you can tell how the full-size version feels compared with the mini. The full-size cream is a jar with a spatula and a pea-sized amount; the full-size serum is a 30 ml dropper bottle. Keep using the directions rather than the way the mini felt, and read the ingredient list before you switch.

Once the base feels settled, extras are a separate decision and the kit does not need them. The Purple Line is extra skincare for firmness and elasticity (eye cream, oil cleanser, masks), and the Green Line, Jeju Yuja, purifies and balances oily or combination skin.

Quick answers

Are the Travel Kit Blue products the same formulas as the full sizes?

No. The kit sizes are made to their own formulas; the full ingredient lists for each item are on the kit page. Compare them with the full-size pages if the details matter to you.

Can I take the kit on a plane?

Each container is 30 ml or less. Carry-on liquid rules differ between airports and airlines, so check the rules for your route before you fly.

Is the kit vegan certified?

Not as a set. The 5.5 Soothing Cleansing Foam carries a vegan certification mark; the toner, serum and cream do not. All four carry the Cruelty Free and GMP marks.

How long does the kit last?

We do not give a number of days because it depends on how much you use. Use the amounts in the directions and you will see how fast each mini goes. The kit items keep for 12 months after opening.
