The short answer

K-Beauty Expo Korea is the beauty trade show held at KINTEX in Goyang, next to Seoul. VVBETTER exhibited at the October 17–19, 2024 edition and introduced the Jeju Yuja Cera Balancing Cream there, a Green Line gel-cream made with ceramide microcapsules and MOISTURE TM B for balance and the skin barrier. This page explains the show, what the cream is and how to use it, and how buyers can ask about trade accounts.

What K-Beauty Expo Korea is

K-Beauty Expo Korea is an annual beauty industry exhibition at KINTEX, the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, a short trip from central Seoul. It is organized by KINTEX together with KOTRA, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, which is why overseas buyers are a visible part of the audience. The show covers a wide range: skincare, makeup, hair, body, ingredients and packaging, and contract manufacturing among others.

For a Korean brand it is a home-ground show. International shows such as Cosmoprof meet buyers in their own region; KINTEX brings buyers to Korea, so a brand can show its full range and talk to people who have travelled specifically to see Korean beauty. VVBETTER, a Korean mindful skincare brand (Made in Korea since 2021), has exhibited here several times, and you can see the earlier editions in our 2023 archive and 2022 archive.

Our own post about the show records three things. The dates were October 17–19, 2024. The venue was KINTEX in Goyang. And the new product we brought to visitors was the Jeju Yuja Cera Balancing Cream, formulated with ceramide microcapsules. The booth was a place to touch textures, ask questions and meet the team behind the products, which suits a brand whose name joins "very-very" and "better" and whose dot above the V stands for a moment of focus. We do not publish visitor numbers or sales results from the show.

The product we introduced: Jeju Yuja Cera Balancing Cream

The texture most visitors asked about: a translucent, light gel-cream that spreads easily.

The Cera Balancing Cream is a 50 ml tube in the Green Line, VVBETTER's Jeju Yuja line for cleansing and balance, made for oily, combination and sensitive skin. It is a gel-cream, lighter than a classic rich cream, designed as the moisturizing step for skin that looks oily or combination, including skin prone to breakouts. Its key points are ceramides in microcapsules, MOISTURE TM B, Jeju yuja and zinc PCA, with peppermint and tea tree for a cooling feel. It is vegan-certified. In the line's keyword language: skin barrier, balance and cooling.

Ingredient Amount What it is
Ceramide microcapsules (ceramide NP) 0.5% (5,000 ppm) Microcapsules that dissolve as you spread the cream, giving a cushioned, moisturized feel
MOISTURE TM B 0.5% (5,000 ppm) A patented ingredient from the raw-material maker, made from yam, okra, lotus root and aloe leaf
Zinc PCA Included, amount not published A mineral salt commonly used in products for shiny-looking skin
Tea tree leaf oil and peppermint oil 0.01% each Give the cream a light cooling feel
Jeju yuja, centella and holy basil extracts Included, amounts not published Plant extracts that support the Jeju yuja identity of the line

Panthenol, squalane, hyaluronic acid and beta-glucan are also in the formula for a moisturized feel without tightness. Like every VVBETTER product, it went through at least six months of development, and its balanced blend of ingredients is meant to stay gentle even on sensitive skin.

How to use it

  1. Cleanse, then use a toner or pad and a serum if your routine includes them.
  2. Squeeze a small amount from the tube and spread it over the whole face.
  3. Pat gently until it absorbs. It can be used morning and evening.
  4. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.

Because the formula contains peppermint and tea tree oils, patch test on the inside of your forearm first, especially if your skin is reactive. For a pad-then-cream sequence, see how the Jeju Yuja Balancing Pad fits before it, and read why gel-creams contain capsules in Meet the little capsules in a gel-cream. The full product explanation is in the Cera Balancing Cream guide.
